Where should I store my Wise Food Storage products?

Wise products are made of both freeze-dried and dehydrated components that are affected by temperature, moisture, oxygen and light. Therefore, optimal storage conditions for our foods are in cool, dry places.

How long does Wise food last in storage?

Studies have proven that freeze-dried and dehydrated foods will last up to 25 years or even longer. For optimal storage life, it is suggested that Wise food be stored in a cool, dry place, such as a basement, with room temperatures of 50 to 55 degrees.

Do you have a Gluten Free Line?

How much water do I need to prepare Wise food?

On average, each individual serving requires 1 cup of water. For a thicker consistency, add slightly less than 1 cup of water.

Do I have to use boiling water to prepare Wise food?

Wise foods can be rehydrated and ready to eat with any temperature of water although our food is prepared more quickly if hot water is used. For this very reason, we are including Wise Fire absolutely free with your order today. Wise Fire is an ideal emergency fuel source that is safe to store, easy to light and without any harmful chemicals.

How long does Wise food take to rehydrate?

When using hot water, wait approximately 12-15 minutes before eating to allow the food to rehydrate completely. When using cold water the rehydration process will take a few minutes longer (approximately 15-20 minutes total).
